The recruitment team went to more churches for MfA outreach/recruitment trips. Meeting students in their communities is very advantageous as it has clearly helped us to effectively share our mission to people and reach the right population. We went to Pentecostal Holiness Church in Twapia, and Mushili Baptist Church. The partnerships continue to expand and that is good for the church as it will be a conduit through which the youth will get quality education.

The recruitment of the MfA students
Enoch Phiri, a mechanic sharing his MfA success story to prospective students
At Mushili Baptist Church, One of the youth team Leaders is Mr. White Kumwenda who is alumni. He and his associates are running their own private workshop and he is also working at a company called Joes Earthworks. He shared his story with the prospective students and shared why it is important to enroll at a college that focuses not only on academics but character building too.
Mr. Evaristor Chongo is the head of the academics department. He has great experience in a wide range of engineering courses which he also lectures. Mr. Chongo enjoys being part of Mechanics for Africa and has a wonderful relationship with students. He always pushes them to work hard if they want to see awesome results. He believes in hard work in all aspects of life and he makes it known to his students which makes them appreciate him so much because he challenges them to do better. His hope for students is that they go through MfA and experience a life transformation that helps them have a better life, carrying with them our core values.
